The Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST) led by President Dr. Pornpun Waitayangkoon, front row third from left, welcomes Dr. Kerri-Ann Jones, Assistant Secretary of State for Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs, US Department of States. During her trip to Thailand, Dr. Jones visited IPST to discuss the cooperation between Thailand the US on science education and the on-going work of the Global Learning and Observation to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE) program, a worldwide hands-on, primary and secondary school-based science and education in which IPST is a country representative.
